A trend setter and a makeover artist, his talent for creating individual styles has been refined during a career which has been focused on artistic research.
He started his fashion freelancer career in Milan, styling for major Italian magazines and he acquired an exponential experience working on the most magnificent fashion shows in the early 90s between Paris and New York.
In order to fully immerse himself in the art of fashion hairstyling Giannandrea relocated to New York City in 1993 where his personal career stared to flourish, quickly establishing him as one of the industry’s rising stars.
His ability to combine classic styling with modern techniques has made him the hairstylist of choice for some of the most renowned publications such as Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar Vanity Fair and many more.
He worked with Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, Tom Ford, Cover Girl, Giorgio Armani and with some of the many iconic photographers of the Fashion System: Steven Meisel, Herb Ritts, Patrick Demarchelier and Sir David Bailey among others.
Since 2002 Giannandrea became a Hollywood sensation and his stunning glamorous styles are looked upon as inspirational and innovative.
His impressive celebrity clients list includes Paris Jackson, Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz, Sharon Stone, Gwyneth Paltrow, Eva Mendes, Kristen Stewart, Demi Moore, Scarlett Johansson, Kate Hudson, Anne Hathaway, Cristina Aguilera, Mariah Carey and many more.
He has styled major Movie stars at international awards and events such as the Oscars, the Golden Globes, Emmy’s, The Grammy’s, Bafta’s, Venice and Cannes Film Festivals for the past 17 years.
Giannandrea is a multifaceted and recognized expert in the Hair Care industry, both on the consumer as well professional side. During the course of his stellar career, he has collaborated with many hair care companies in various roles from editorials, advertising campaigns, red carpet credits, creative director and press & media with Kerastase, L’Oreal, Klorane, Pantene, Macademia and Redken to name a few.
He is recognized as a creative force in the beauty industry, his enduring enthusiasm and passion for the craft hold a promise of continuous excitement in the years to come.
