Dr. Steven Ringler

FOUNDER & MEDICAL DIRECTOR

Dr. Steven L. Ringler is a board-certified Grand Rapids, Michigan plastic surgeon recognized nationally and internationally for his achievements and educational leadership in cosmetic and plastic surgery.
Over the past 20 years, Dr. Ringler has studied the causes of thinning hair in men and women and published his research findings regarding the effects of oxygen levels in the scalp as a factor in hair loss. Ultimately, his research led him to become the founder of Hair Restoration Institute. Dr. Ringler’s dedication to research has led him to develop patents for non-surgical, botanical hair restoration treatments and techniques.
Dr. Ringler is the creator of the Ekakshi Oil Complex® currently used in the Hair Prescriptives products. He has used these botanical ingredients clinically at the Center for Aesthetics and Plastic Surgery in Grand Rapids, Michigan for many years, prior to the development of the HPx product line. His patients have experienced excellent improvement in the strength, thickness, volume and overall health of their hair.
Dr. Ringler developed the HPx line because he strongly believes there was a need for a botanically based product to treat thinning hair in men and women. Using the power of nature, he has identified the active botanicals that can be used to correct the biochemical imbalance that often contributes to thinning hair.
Dr. Ringler currently devotes most of his time to the practice of cosmetic plastic surgery, where he provides the very latest in safe, proven technology in surgical and non-surgical services. Dr. Ringler’s goal with Hair Prescriptives® was to develop an elegant cosmetic treatment that offered a clinically-proven, botanical solution for men and women with thinning hair.
